Mr. Dagenais began his barter experience as a small business owner in the early 70’s trading his goods for other services needed in his business. Enthralled with the concept of barter, he entered the organized barter industry in it’s infancy in 1980. For the next 25 years, Mr. Dagenais was instrumental in the day to day operations of the largest barter networks in the US serving both small businesses and Fortune 1000’s. With a passion for the concept, Dagenais always felt the barter concept should not be contained to businesses but rather, shared with individuals. And, with the right knowledge, and the proper tools, everyone could benefit in applying barter to their daily lives. Mainstreet Barter Associates was born.
